Executive Director of the Santa Fe Watershed Association, Andy Otto and the City’s Water Conservation manager, Christine Chavez, were recently on Que Suave radio where they informed listeners about the refillable water stations that will be at this year’s Zozobra event.

The Santa Fe Watershed Association coordinated with the Kiwanis Club and the Green Chamber of Commerce to make this year’s Zozobra a plastic water bottle free zone. The City of Santa Fe has donated two 500 gallon water tanks for event attendees to fill and refill their reusable bottles for free.

In an effort to curb impacts, both plastic waste and energy, Zozobra goers are encouraged to join the #BoycottTheBottle movement and bring along a refillable water bottle and take advantage of the water stations.

Big thanks to the Santa Fe Watershed Association, the Kiwanis Club, and the Buckman Direct Diversion for making this possible.
