Below is the timeline for the 5-year Water Conservation Plan:
- One informational session and 4 public input sessions with a focus on different water customer sectors
- Transparent public input process with information posted after each meeting on savewatersantafe.com. Includes FAQs, input, and presentation materials
- Internal stakeholders meetings with various city departments
- Joint City/County meeting on May 30th to discuss possible collaborations
- Draft written in May 2019 and will be presented at the City sponsored Next Generation Water Summit in June 2019 for input and review from water conservation professionals across the southwest.
- Final draft completed in the fall 2019 with committee rotations in early winter 2020.
- Plan ready to implement in January 2020
